Nicholas Insley is a smart and principled Conservative who is running to be your Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam. He is a committed Conservative activist who has worked on campaigns in our community since 2004.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Nicholas moved to Ottawa to work for the Harper Government, where he provided strategic advice on a number of economic files related to Western Canada. Nicholas also served as the Director of Communications to the Hon. Michelle Rempel.
After earning his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oxford, he and his young family returned home to the Tri-Cities. He currently leads the public affairs group at Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver.
On the weekends, Nicholas with his wife Cynthia and their daughter Penelope enjoy quality time together visiting the ducks at LaFarge Lake and walking along the Coquitlam River Trail. As a family they attend Coquitlam Alliance Church.
In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys running, biking and is an out of practice bagpiper.
